The Hale Club


The grounds and premises at Hoe Lane, The Hale Club, are owned by the Richard Hale Association and run by its operating company, The Hale Club Limited, with a board of directors appointed by the members (the General Committee of the RHA)All members of the RHA are automatically members of the Hale Club. The Hale Club is fully licensed with the bar open to members through the week in the evenings.Its function room is available for hire for meetings, jumble sales, dinners, wedding receptions, anniversary parties etc with a full catering service available.

A smaller room, the Richard Hale Association Room, accommodating up to 50 persons for meetings or small buffets or may be hired from the Association.

The Hale Club is the home of Hertford Rugby Football Club – successor to Old Hertfordians Rugby Football Club when it became an open club – who play in National League 3 South. There are four full sized pitches and changing facilities. Also located on the premises is the Hertford Squash Club with two courts and changing rooms. Members of these bodies become members of the Hale Club. Reciprocal membership is also given to Ware(OH) CC and OH Golf Society.

Hydrashapeme, a fitness clinique,  is also located in the premises.

The grounds provide extensive car parking and are available for outside functions in the summer
